About This Project

The local provisions eatery is a renovation project that was originally a grocery store. Martik Brothers transformed the space into an eclectic bodega with grab and go pick up food, a full service bar and a brunch hot spot. The retail displays and shelving were designed and created by MBI as well.

Local Provision’s moto follows a farm fresh motif that supports local vendors, and promotes a revolving menu created by their Pittsburgh inspired chef, Brian Pekarich. Through a mix of Victorian era mosaics, Moroccan pattern tile, marbleized concrete counter tops, and unique wallpaper and textiles, this project came to life and shows their awesome style.

The layout was designed through a local Architect, with all finishes selected by Martik Brothers design team. The interior design and final finishes were important when bringing the project together. Another finish that was strategically chosen was the live edge slabs on the tables to add warmth to the navy, white, and gold color scheme throughout the space.
