About This Project

MBI completed the tenant fit up for THE new 1800 sq. ft. Solidcore, a high-intensity Pilates based workout facility. Solidcore’s workouts are completed in the dark utilizing their patented sled machines, “Sweatlanna”. The project was completed in the historical terminal building which is in the heart of the strip district area in Pittsburgh PA.

Located in one of Pittsburgh’s hippest revitalization areas. The scope of work consisted of extensive soundproofing, reclaimed wood and damask accents walls, and backlit blue mirrored walls which creates an infinity effect in the workout studio. This project also focused on the combination of warm and cool finishes. From cool wallpaper, paint colors, to warm wood finishes, this project encompasses a hip new gym for all pilate lovers. Martik Brothers acted as the General Contractor on this project and has completed a total of 10 solidcores including out of state Solidcores.
