About This Project

Martik Brothers, Inc. was hired as the General Contractor for the 3,669 square foot design build venue located at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. The museum, Reflection, is situated at the peak of the resort and features contemporary artwork displayed along with scenic views facing the Laurel
Highlands. It features 10’ to 16’ ceilings with an open concept floor plan made of polished concrete and storefront panels.

The reflection project was designed to house some of the Hardy families many curated art collection pieces including a pyramid made of petrified wood. At the time of construction, the pyramid was made using 2 of the only 4 pieces of petrified wood in the United States large enough to create the pyramid. After the original design was halted due to budget, Martik Brothers Inc. worked with the design team and contractors as a design build approach to maintain the desired budget and timeline.
